After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is racked and rested for winter before entering the new American oak barrels. Here it will remain for 24 months, in a semi-buried warehouse where the temperature and humidity are constant throughout the year. Again, the wine remains another winter in a stainless steel tank where it is finished cleaning in a natural way, avoiding subsequent treatments that detract from its organoleptic characteristics. Once bottled, the wine will spend at least 3 years in bottle refining before commercialization.

Vintage: 2014
Varieties: Tempranillo, mazuelo
Alcohol vol: 13,5 % vol
Bottle vol: 75 cl
Consumption temperature: 16 – 18 ºC

Ruby red color with a medium-high layer. Clean and bright. A good glyceric density is observed with a gentle fall along the walls of the glass.

Pleasant nose full of surprises: dried plums, tobacco notes, elegant aromas of liquorice, spices and mentholated notes with a slight mineral touch.

In the mouth it expresses an elegant, ripe, tasty, fine and silky tannin, with a good acidity that balances the palate.

This wine goes well with stews, red meat, game dishes and cheese.
